Nashville Public Television (NPT), Middle Tennessee's PBS station, provides educational and arts programming via three specific channels: the main channel; a secondary channel (NPT2); and NPT3, a 24/7 PBS Kids channel.

Among the popular children's shows are Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Dinosaur Train, Wild Kratts, Nature Cat, Arthur, Let's Go Luna and Odd Squad.

BIG YELLOW BIRD BASH FUNDRAISER

One of NPT's largest fundraisers is its annual Big Yellow Bird Bash. This year, it takes place on Saturday, March 30 from 7 - 10 p.m. at a brand-new location: The Bedford (4319 Sidco Drive, Nashville). NPT encourages attendees to don their most festive yellow attire for a night that includes dancing, light bites, photos with Daniel Tiger's trolley, and a silent auction featuring fitness and other classes; sports and event tickets; vouchers for personal services and more.
