It's tough to find somewhere to stay downtown, especially when big ticket events are happening. So, it's good to hear the new Hyatt House is open and ready to welcome you with open arms.
It's nice to check in to a beautiful hotel and feel like you're at home. I mean, truly at home. Because, you won't believe what's in store for you at the first Hyatt property in the state of Tennessee. The Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt is officially open and you'll love the grand amenities!
This residential-style, pet-friendly hotel features 201 top-notch rooms — all with a separate seating area. You'll love that some of the suites come fully equipped with kitchens. That means the kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove, small appliances and utensils. This is a great feature for families on a long weekend staycation or even family coming into town.
More for Guests
While you wait to check in or just want something to do with your kids, check out a board game at the front counter. You can play them in the lobby or take them to your room! In addition, there’s a Gathering Room where the hotel plans to add an Xbox and PlayStation system fir guests to play. They will also have family nights where they will play movies on the big TV in this room. Guests can also enjoy a morning spread with made-to-order Omelet Bar, yogurt, fresh fruit, savory options and more each day.
Other than that, food options are a little limited. There is a market for a quick snack or drink.
Or, you can order from the H Bar menu, which is available daily from 5 - 10 pm. Items include:
- Sandwiches: turkey club, grilled cheese, cheeseburger and more
- Soups and salads
- Appetizers: quesadilla, Korean street tacos, pork sliders and more
Place an order from your room and then come down to enjoy ... or take it back to the room. Whatever you choose! Pack those swimsuits, because there's a pool, too! It’s heated year round for a dip anytime - no matter the season.
Guess what?! Krispy Kreme is just around the corner. And you're close to a local fave, Elliston Place Soda Shop, too. You're also only about a 10- to 13-minute walk to Centennial Sportsplex. You know ... where the Nashville Predators practice (which is also open to the public and FREE to watch!). You can practically get a panoramic view of downtown from the fifth floor. Hint: the even numbered rooms have views of The Parthenon while odd numbered rooms have views of the other side of the city!
Looking to do something fun with the family? You're also about a 17-minute walk to Centennial Park and The Parthenon. They also have a FREE shuttle service for guests daily from 8 am - 6 pm. They will drop you off at locations within a two-mike radius of the hotel. Which is great for families staying close to a loved one in the hospital. While they don’t offer a pickup service at this time, they’re willing to bend the rules for families of sick loved ones. That’s especially nice if you have a child staying at the hospital. In addition, if you want to get in the car, then you're only about five minutes from The Frist and about 10 minutes or so from the tourist spots on Broadway.
